Ganne, Louis

Louis Ganne(1862-1923), French conductor and composer, studied at the Paris Conservatory, conducted at the Nouveau Theatre de la Rue Blanche and at the Folies-Bergere, later led a concert series at the Monte-Carlo Casino. He composed operas, operettas, and ballet music. He is less known outside his native France.
