Gorsky, Alexander

Alexander Gorsky(1870-1924), Russian choreographer and dancer, he studied ballet at the Imperial Ballet Company, then joined the Maryinsky Theater as soloist, he became one of the pioneers in impairing realism and drama to the ballet.
Four stamps depict the ballet scenes: a- Gorsky's portrait and the Daughter of Gudule, b-Don Quixote, c-Giseille, d-La Bayadere.
