Guerrero, Jacinto

Jacinto Guerrero(1895-1951), Spanish composer of operetta and zarzuela, at very young age he enrolled as a chorister at Toledo Cathedral, then studied at the Madrid Conservatory, played violin in the orchestra of the Teatro de Apolo. In 1919 be began to compose, climbing rapidly to fame through a succession of three zarzuelas. He composed over 50 operettas and zarzuelas
